Stiftung Scheibler – Museum Rotes Haus Monschau
In 1963, the Scheibler family, together with the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR), established the Foundation “Stiftung Scheibler-Museum Rotes Haus” to continue to preserve this unique architectural monument and make it accessible to the public.

LVR Cultural Heritage Network
In order to strengthen the region’s cultural diversity, the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) supports selected museums and cultural institutions in the Rhineland through permanent funding. The LVR has provided funding of € 430,000 for the expansion and revision of the current permanent exhibition.
Wool Route – Euregio Meuse-Rhine
The Red House is part of a transnational initiative that provides cross-border information on the cultural heritage of the cloth industry in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine, especially on historic factory buildings, cultural landscapes and museums. The route runs in the three-country region around Aachen through Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, and takes into account the central production locations of Aachen, Eupen, Euskirchen, Monschau, Vaals and Verviers.
